FAQ - All About Alber and Factions

Alber

Alber is a country where two factions are at war. The Kailux Empire ruled by the God of light, Apollon and the Order of Dilamun, ruled by the God of darkness, Eres.

All the characters at level 175 are able to join one of these two factions and fight for them. You will be able to rise in rank, receive new equipment and special buffs that are determined by your rank and amount of creationary jewels that have been gathered by your faction.

PvP is always activated on Alber and cannot be deactivated.


How to gain access to Alber?

You will have to talk to [Teleporter] Alber who is in Randol, Juno.





When you teleport to Alber, you will directly gain access to the camp of the Flore Union. It is an independent union. The camp of The Flore Union is the only place in Alber where PvP is not activated.


How to join a faction?

To join a faction, you will have to speak with the Alber Recruiter Anna who can be found in Juno.


She will give you a quest for which you must speak to the Faction Qualification Examiner to complete the quest.




After completing the quest, you will receive 2 new ones but be careful when making your choice as 1 is for the Kailux Empire and the other for the Order of Dilamun:




You will receive a certificate of qualification after completing the quest of your faction.


The Kailux Empire is blue and the Dilamun Order is red. You will have to double click on your certificate in your inventory to receive a new quest that will complete your registration to your corresponding faction.

Finish this quest to join your desired faction.

You will receive contribution points the first time you will join a faction.

You will get a flag next to your name when joining one of the two factions.

You will have to gather contributions points for your faction by killing monsters of the opposite factions, by killing players of the opposite faction, by completing quests and by donating creationary jewels.

Be careful, getting killed by a player or monster of the opposite faction will make you lose points of contribution.


Contribution points and ranks

You will be able to see the amount of points of contribution you have and your rank in the information interface of the faction that you will find in “Faction Info”:


You can see your points of contribution, your rank within the faction and the history of what you have done in your faction. You will also see the amount of creationary jewels gathered by the factions in percentage. A faction will receive a special buff if the latter managed to gather a certain amount of creationary jewels.

This amount will vary depending on the amount of new members and the leaving members of the faction. It will also vary depending on the amount of jewels that the faction has acquired.

By clicking on the button “Ranks and information”, you will be able to see the different ranks within the faction and also the buff that you can receive accordingly.

The flag next to your name will change color depending on the rank you have:
Squire to Marquise
Duka
Principal

Rank within the Dilamun Order:

You will drop special equipment reserved to members of the faction. You will be able to wear these items after attaining a certain rank and the buffs will differ according to your rank.

The points of contribution that you will obtain will also depend on the amount of creationary jewels that your faction has gathered and the rank of the character you killed. You will also receive points of contribution everyday if you connect 30 minutes ingame before midnight. You will also receive points of contribution by donating creationary jewels or by completing quests for your faction.

You can also lose points of contribution; it will depend on the amount of creationary jewels gathered by your faction and the rank of the character who killed you. You will also lose points of contribution if you do not connect at least 30 minutes every day before midnight.


How to access your faction territory

To access your faction territory and start the quests, you will have to use the corresponding teleport of your faction. These NPCs will have the flag of your faction next to their name.


To teleport to Juno, you will have to access your faction territory and use the teleporter. You will also find a merchant that will see different items and a storekeeper as well.

You can only use the NPC of your corresponding faction. These NPC will have your faction’s flag next to their name. You cannot kill a monster that isn’t from your faction and they will not attack you but be careful as the opposite faction may pay you a visit on your territory!

You will be able to recognize the players and monsters of the opposite faction because they wear a different flag next to their name.

You can also see the faction and the rank of a monster, NPC or a player by targeting the latter. These information will be visible under his level indicator.


What can you do with the Creationary Jewels?

There are 3 items that you can find in game, by doing quests or by killing enemies:
Creationary Jewel Powder
Creationary Jewel Fragment
Perfect Creationary Jewel

These items will vanish after 30 minutes being in your inventory. You will have to donate them before the end of these 30 minutes. To make a donation, you will have to talk to a Jewel researcher of your faction that is present in the territory of your faction.


What to do with the Medal of Mercenary?



You can receive these medals by completing quests.

You will need these medals to open the first aid box and the box of ammunition that you can buy from the merchant of your faction.

In the first aid box, you can receive items that will regenerate your HP and MP or free yourself from different curses.

In the ammunition box, you can receive items that will strengthen your character and will give you the ability to call for help.


Can I change factions?

Yes, it is possible to change faction.

To do so, you will have to talk to the administrator of your faction who can be found in the territory of your faction.

To leave your faction, you will have to pay a tax and you will lose the contribution points of your faction. You will be directly teported to the Camp of the Flore Union and you will be able to redo the quests at the Examiner to join a different faction! You will no longer have any contribution points offered when entering a new faction!

You can use a Faction card that can be found in the item shop to avoid losing all the contribution points acquired and paying the tax!

You only have to place it in the slot provided for this purpose when leaving a faction.
